TOKYO -- You can make that nine medals for Ivy League athletes at the 2020 Summer Olympic games.


Former Big Red wrestler Kyle Dake claimed bronze in the 74kg men's freestyle class on Friday.


A four-time national champion in four different weight classes for the Big Red, Dake fought his way back to the podium after dropping a decision to Mahamedkhabib Kadzimahaedau from Belarus.


The Lansing, N.Y., native dominated the repechage match opposite Cuba’s Jeandry Garzon, winning 10-0 in the first period. He then topped Italy’s Frank Chamizo, 3-0, in bronze medal match.
